Boardworker Voter Assistance Enhancement Training Receives NACo 2005 Achievement Award

Maricopa County is the fastest-growing county in the US, attracting a diverse populous resulting in many challenges for boardworkers on Election Day. The challenges may be a language barrier, or the physical act of voting itself. Therefore, special board-worker training enhancements were implemented to assure proper communication; tools such as a Language Glossary of Election Terminology and Voter Instruction Cards. Boardworker Training Classes emphasizes how and when to use these tools.
