MILOS (Military and Overseas Voters) Receives NACo 2005 Achievement Award

Maricopa County Elections Department determined a need for a more efficient and effective way for military and overseas voters to request an early ballot compared to the old method of a handwritten request. The voter, upon completing the Federal Post Card Application, has the option of printing, signing, and faxing it to the office, or completing the form on-line and submitting it electronically. As a result, the request can be processed overnight and a ballot can be generated.
