Document Printing
Be advised that the images displayed on the internet are meant
for viewing purposes, therefore printing difficulties may occur. But the
following are answers to any printing questions or problems that you may
encounter.
When I print a document the pages come out black or with a gray background.
This never happened before, why is it happening now?
We've changed image format from GIF
to PNG and the fix for this problem is to upgrade your browser to it's most
recent version. IE's current version is 6.1 and Netscape's is 8.1. Both of
these have excellent PNG support.
When I print the document it does not print on one page. Try either of the
following:
Under Page Setup, from the browser,
set the margins to it's lowest allowed value.
The print command from any browser
will not print the entire image. The image can be downloaded to a
machine, then opened in imaging software and resized for optimal
printing. Alternately, a viewer that supports the PNG file type can be
installed as a plugin to your browser. Many viewers resize the
image for optimal printing.
