The Town of Fountain Hills is holding a special election on Propositions 427, 428 and 429. This is an all-ballot-by-mail election, and every registered voter in
Fountain Hills will automatically be mailed a ballot on April 22. All ballots must be in a secure ballot drop box or received by mail by 7 p.m. on Election Day, May

Why was I mailed a ballot?
State laws allows jurisdictions to hold all-mail elections. All eligible voters within Fountain Hills will get a ballot in the mail, whether or not they are on the Permanent Early Voting
List. Voters can return a ballot by mail or drop it off at one of the secure ballot drop box locations listed above.
My ballot looks different. Is this really my official ballot?
Yes! Your ballot now has ovals instead of arrows. Maricopa County has invested in new voting equipment that counts ballots much faster. Please refer to your voting instructions for

I damaged my ballot, can I get a new one?
If you damaged your ballot you can request a new one by calling 602-506-1511 no later than May 12. After that date, you can replace your damaged ballot at the Fountain Hills
Community Center, 13001 N La Montana Drive in Fountain Hills on Tuesday, May 19 from 6 a.m. – 7 p.m. Directions.
Is voting by mail secure? How do I know my ballot was counted?
Voting by mail is very secure. All ballots require a signature that is then checked against a known signature on the official voter registration file. Every single ballot is tracked upon

I am away from my residence. Will my ballot be forwarded?
No. The law does not allow official election materials, such as ballots, to be forwarded by the Post Office. If you would like us to mail your ballot to a temporary mailing address,
contact us at (602) 506-1151 or EVreq@risc.maricopa.gov. If you are in the military or a family member, or you live overseas, please find out more information here.
