PHOENIX -- With less than two weeks until the first election of 2024, the Maricopa County Recorder's Office has been hard at work.

Recorder Stephen Richer spoke to several local and national media outlets this week to make sure voters are informed about the upcoming March 12 jurisdictional election and the presidential preference election (PPE) on March 19.

Additionally, Maricopa Title Alert (MTA), the county's free title alert program reached a new milestone. More than 120,000 names are being monitored across more than 55,000 accounts. This comes just weeks after the service began implementing SMS text message alerts.

You can learn more about the MTA at TitleAlert.Maricopa.Gov.

Our office is also hard at work as signature verification is underway for both of the March elections. You can learn more about the signature verification process here.

Don't forget, this coming Tuesday, March 5, is the last recommended day to mail back your ballot for the Tempe and Litchfield Park jurisdictional elections.

Tuesday, March 12, is the last recommended day for registered Democrats and Republicans to mail back their early ballots for the PPE.

If you receive a ballot for both elections, remember, the ballot for the March 12 jurisdictional election will have a green envelope with a RED stripe.

The ballot for the March 19 PPE will have a green envelope with a YELLOW stripe.
