Parking Information
FREE public parking lot is located at 5th Ave/Madison south of Jefferson St. – 501 W. Jefferson St.
Maricopa County Recorder Entrance (faces West) – 111 S 3rd Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85003 - 3rd Ave/Jefferson St.
There is an accessible path of travel from the lot to the entry of the Board of Supervisors auditorium.
The City of Phoenix parking garage is located at 300 West Jefferson Street, where pay public parking is available. However, Maricopa County does not validate parking.
Metered parking is available on all streets surrounding our offices for on-street parking in downtown Phoenix.
Current enforcement of meters runs between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m., Monday - Sunday, including holidays.
Rates
The current hourly rate ranges from $0.50 cents to $4 depending on time and location.
Is Accessible Parking Required on Sites Where no Parking is Intended?
No, the ADA Standards require accessible spaces only where parking is provided. They do not require accessible spaces where parking is not provided at all. Most local and state codes and regulations address the amount of parking required for a site.
5th Avenue surface lot does comply with the minimum number of spaces required (6 spaces) as a percentage of the total number of spaces provided.
