ID VERIFY FOR EARLY BALLOTS

I.D. Verified is a new program authorized by State Statute that allows voters with an early ballot to use their I.D. to bypass Signature Verification by getting their affidavit envelope containing their early ballot stamped at any polling center.

Signature Verification is the process used to compare a voter’s signature from their voter registration form, or a prior mail ballot, to the signature on their current affidavit envelope to confirm that voter’s identity and move their early ballot into the queue for tabulation.

You can choose to ID verify at any voting location throughout in-person Early Voting, Emergency Voting, and Election Day.

Yes. You can bring your early ballot to a voting location on Election Day and have your identity verified using an acceptable form of identification. Specifically on Election Day, you can also have your ballot tabulated once ID Verified.

Valid Arizona driver’s license

Valid Arizona non-operating identification card

Tribal enrollment card or other form of tribal identification

U.S. federal, state, or local government-issued photo identification

Additional forms and combinations of identification are also accepted.
